file it away under "I couldn't make this stuff up."

Asher: "Daddy, I smell like you."
Brian (with a pause): "Oh yeah? How so?"
Asher: "My feet smell like your feet."

The other day Silas was in his bed, emphatically Not Napping. I couldn't help but laugh when I heard him announce in his best Ming-Ming voice, "This. Is. Serious."

Yesterday evening I found myself thinking, "When they told me, 'It's a boy!', it's not that I imagined my kid would never make a mess. It's just that I never imagined how OFTEN I would find the remains of blueberries on the side of the wall.'"

LOL @ the blueberries. There are so many things like this that happen lilke this with lil boys. Tanner had a thing for stick butter. He would grab it from the fridge anytime he thought he could get away with it and play with it. I guess he liked the texture. When he was about three, Chris had been watching him when I took a bath. After coming out I asked where the kids were and if he had done something to them since there was for our house a massive silence. Chris said oh they just fell asleep, but I spotted the open fridge and told him to check the boys closer. About 35 seconds later, he hollers that I better come there and I might as well grab a camera.
When I got in there, tanner was covered head to toe in butter and had one stick of butter in each fist and one sticking out of the top of his diaper....LOLOL
