life is good

Hi. My name is Stephanie and I wear jeans and t-shirts.

Every day. I've gotten a little better over time - choosing capris and/or something more feminine than the unisex style that could also fit Spongebob, but in essence I've worn the same thing since the sixth grade. And that doesn't bother me in the least.

For several years now I've had a favorite t-shirt that I have worn so often it has become a little bit of a joke. If you know me in person at all, I bet you already know the one. Maybe you remember it? It's a shirt for all seasons of my life ...

at the beach ...

holding a rambunctious Silas ...

holding a bashful baby Asher (was he really that small? And good WORD wasn't he an adorable baby?!) ...

hanging out with Brian ...

I bet I wore it twice a week for the past five years (unless I was 9 months pregnant, but even then it was always the first to be chosen from the box of non-maternity clothes as soon as I could fit back into them). Over time, though, it has gone the way of all flesh, fraying around the collar, developing unidentifiable stains. Life wasn't so good anymore.

Until this weekend, when our local outdoor store had a half-off sale, and I found this. It's a cute little baby blue shirt with a budding flower and a directive to GROW. Best of all, it is NEW and a t-shirt. I ask you, is there ANY shirt in the world that better suits me?

Life is good again.

I don't even see you that often, and I knew which shirt you were talking about, instantly. Hee hee. Love the new one. I am a sucker for a good t-shirt.

I loved that shirt. It defined you, but I like the new one too:)

One article I read recently referred to Life is Good as the soccer mom brand. I must disagree since I think of you and Pat when I see their merchandise, two women I would not categorize as soccer-mom stereotypes.

There was a behind the scenes segment on cable recently that highlighted that company - what a great pair of guys that started it, and they have not spent a dime on advertising. Not one single dime. Wow.

I too, knew exactly which shirt before I scrolled down. :) But I love the new one, and firmly believe it will be a new staple in your waredrobe!

My two favorites are my IHOP and DOL shirts. At least once a week! :)
