This is the best thing I've read all day. Me too.
Along the same lines, as I stood in the home improvement store today, Asher screaming because he's "stuck" in the pot (he was so not stuck) inside the cart, Silas's diaper actively leaking on me as he's leaning all the way over trying to grab his brother's hair (I took him out of the front of the cart because he'd fenagled a way to stand up and turn around - 9 MONTHS OLD, ya'll - in order to grab his brother's hair), and me pushing the cart forward with one elbow and my hips, I thought to myself, I look forward to the day when I am not a spectacle in a store.
We'll get there.
Happy Monday.

AMEN! I read your link, and I SO remember those days. I have learned in 17 short months that no two kids are alike and sometimes compromise on the noise factor or the organization factor or the TV factor is what gets me through the day. (She says as she types while her toddler is in the living room watching "Babe" and singing some song she made up about pigs.)
thanks for the link
