Can I just say that watching my baby scream ALL. DAY. LONG (and I'm really not exaggerating - she did not nap for twelve straight hours. I didn't even know that was possible for a newborn) because of something I've eaten is super sad. Talk about maternal guilt. I may never eat yogurt again.

But when she is not screaming, I have a tiny baby who puts herself to sleep. She WANTS you to put her down awake, actually, and will strain to keep her little exhausted eyes open if you try to soothe her to sleep. This fact totally blows my mind. I have heard rumors that babies like that exist, I've just never birthed one until now.

I wish I had more to offer in the way of entertaining, informing, or enchanting you, but alas. My mind is full of things that don't really interest anyone but me, all of the myriad of things that are part of the herculean effort of creating a home.

Don't worry; something substantial will bubble up sooner or later. Until then, happy Wednesday.

Ugh...it's awful to have days like that with an infant. Hope it gets better soon!

Your comments matter to me, Steph -- As for the washer and dishwasher, I call that the suburban hum.
.. A word to the wise, too, about breatsfeeding -- stay away from fresh fruits and vegetables, especially strawberrys, turnips (no danger there), and, believe it or not, red new potatoes.
....Allison was like Emmy. She cried to be put to bed. Love, Mamamamama

Did I really spell the plural of strawberries that way! I hope the grammar police aren't screening blogs!
