hi friends! Emmanuel Ruth was born on December 31 weighing 6 lbs, 15 oz and 20" long. As Mikkee said, she was on time but just barely, just like her mother. I don't have the patience to blog from a phone, so for now I will just say that the whole experience - from general malaise Thursday afternoon to holding my girl Friday night, rubbing her shock of black hair, to trying my hand, or other parts, at nursing, to now, with a pale pink bump dozing on my chest as we wait to be discharged from the hospital - it has all been ... more than I could have hoped for.

pictures to follow. Hopefully this afternoon, and for the next twenty years.

Happy New Year.

CONGRATS!!!!!

Oh I wondered if she was here...yea!!

Can't wait to read all about it. Can't wait to see pics.

Praying for a quick recovery, good sleep for all, and that she may be a peaceful presence in your home.

I am so happy for you, friend!

Email me if you need/want any nursing encouragement. I don't know if you nursed the boys or not? But wow those early days/weeks were SO hard for me, but got SO much easier.

Enjoy the good moments =)

Congrats! And Happy New Year! Right on time...you have a baby for less than 24 hours of 2010 and you get a deduction for the WHOLE YEAR. Rock on!

Congratulations! I enjoy your blog. Enjoy being home with your little new little girl. I'm with you- I hate blogging from anywhere but my desktop with my mouse and my full sized key board.

Many blessings- Amanda (Kendra's older sister)
