Suddenly I feel PREGNANT, ya'll. For 23 weeks I was bee-bopping along thinking, "What baby? I feel great!" and then last week - WHAM - I realized it's true, I am growing another person after all. I have the short fuse, heartburn, and nesting - including Christmas shopping at 3 a.m. (yes I did - because at 2:45 a.m. I rolled over in bed and suddenly realized all that I need to do before Christmas this year) - to prove it. I'm really going to have another baby.

So that's what's going on here. The days are full of me waddling along, taking deep breaths and trying not to be short-tempered with Asher, thinking through the possibility of taking out Silas' tonsils soon, and doing everything else that we do around here - work and play and Bible studies and phone calls and cooking meals and sand tables and water hoses (because it's still 97* here!) and whatever else it is that fills up our days -then collapsing in a heap on the couch about 7 p.m. Last night I was asleep by 8:04.

Happy gestating to me.

It will be a faint memory before you know it! :) Not that it helps now...
