Want to hear something funny? I chose the paint for Silas's room by taking his quilt in to the paint store. The manager of the paint store (who does not strike you as the type who would have this particular talent) did a phenomenal job of pulling the exact perfect shade of blue out of a stripe in the quilt, and voila - the perfect shade of blue for a little boy's room.
So yesterday Brian took the sham from our new bedspread in to the same tobacco-chewing, surprisingly knowledgeable paint manager, and he did it again - with the EXACT SAME SHADE OF BLUE as we have in Silas's room.
We were skeptical, but you know what? He was right. It IS the right color. Go figure.
Also? Both of my children did not nap this afternoon. It made my brain tired. But they were also both in bed, asleep, before 6:30 tonight. And tomorrow is another day.
And Lane asked me to put a subscription to a RSS feed for the comments section, but I don't know how to do that, and Blogger doesn't make it obvious. Anyone have any advice on how to do it?
Last thing - I started working out a few weeks ago. I didn't tell you guys, because I wanted to do it, and not just talk about it. So I did. I'm really enjoying it, and it's become a habit, which is what I wanted to happen. I also noticed this weekend that my arms look slightly less flabby than they did (I lift 20-28 lbs numerous times a day - why are my arms still flabby? I really have no idea), and my jeans are a little loose. Yay for me.
That's all I've got tonight. Happy Sunday everyone.
