Asher, waiting his turn to open a present.
When Silas gets too wound up, I'll put his blanket over his face while I'm rocking him. It blocks out the light and noise, and he'll normally settle down pretty quickly. Tonight, he did this instead.
Silas, approximately two weeks away from crawling.
Silas playing with his new toys.
Asher, concentrating.
Asher enjoyed the box while his dad and grandpa put his new table and chairs together.
And to all a good night.

way to go Silas!
(slightly panicking because our girls haven't even rolled on their own completely)
Valerie, you're right. Asher is a for real little boy now. And Silas is a baby, with his own personality, not just a newborn anymore.
Laura, Silas is really young to be getting ready to crawl. Asher didn't do that until about 8 months. I think it's because he sleeps on his stomach, so he has a lot of time to practice. Also, his (and your =) pediatrician said little brothers do things faster, because they want to keep up with their big brothers.
