We've moved into the most miserable month in the Deep South - August. The heat index today is somewhere around 105. I don't care if that's heat or humidity - it's obscenely HOT. It's hot when you wake up, hot when you go to sleep. Swimming water is tepid, AC's never shut off. Babies are forever sweaty, car seats are miserable. Yech.
Sorry for the drivel, but it's all I've got today. Eat a popsicle in honor of August in Alabama.
P.S. At 9 p.m. the heat index is 95.

Seriously my AC hasn't shut off since I got home from the mission trip 3 weeks ago, and I have a MASSIVE power bill to show for it. I think I am now taking donations to that particular fund! :-/
Funny you should mentioned the weather in Alabama...
Just today Mark and I were talking about how this is the hottest week we can remember in Kentucky, and then we said, if it's this hot here, can you imagine what it's like back home? Your post confirmed the thought...sounds miserable.
and just imagine what it is in florida!! double yeck!
sorry i missed you today.
Yeah, here in Houston we get to look forward to the double-hundreds: 100 degrees and 100% humidity. You can't see out of buildings because the windows look like waterfalls of condensation. Fun fun.
